"A minimum of five (5) years of computer and/or telecommunication equipment installation experience. Ability to lead a site installation team. Performs troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and installation activities such as assembling, configuring and installing new computer equipment or units of local area network requiring use of standard interface protocols. Performs IT and communications equipment installation following detailed technical instructions, diagrams, and checklists. Ability to lift and hold 40 pounds. Ability to read and red line rack elevation or wiring drawings. Desired experience includes cable and wire harness fabrication and installation to include:
? 12 pair cabling to EIA530 and RS449;
? Twinax;
? Coax;
? CAT 6;
? single and multimode fiber optic cables; and,
? the testing and certifying of cables in accordance with current telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) workmanship and quality standards as specified in the RFP Standards Section."
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
5 years of directly related experience in network analysis and administration.
